How To Configure Analytics

To set analytics applications, right click on camera and select "Set Analytics" Option.

Choosing the option "Set Analytics" will lead you a new window. The Applications that are already been configured are shown in tabular form. You can click on any of the entry in the table and either view the configuration or delete the Application from Video Analytics Server.

You may want to run the Analytics Application at specific hours of the day. Accordingly create a schedule and set the schedule for this application.


To configure the in-built Intrusion Detection analytics, Choose "VAS-01 (127.0.0.1)" as the analytics server. Then choose the application "Activity Detection" and draw a zone on the image panel. You would also set other parameters like Event priority, Event action, Event message.


To configure a new video analytics application, choose the appropriate Video Analytic Server (VAS), the application name, and press "ADD NEW" button. It will take to the Analytics application specific panel.

NOTE : Video analytics applications require setting of proper camera view, camera resolution, image parameters.

Once the application is configured, the operators will receive Alerts as and when any object enters the marked zone. Please make a mock run and check whether the settings are correct and the analytics events are received by the operators.
