How to Generate Hwinfo file of the Server

In Case of Windows Server :

1. As we can see there is no hwinfo file generated in license folder of VMS server.

2.  We can do RIGHT click to run the application.

3. Now we can get the required hwinfo.v2a file in the license folder.

In case of Ubuntu Server :

In Linux server, please ensure that PreInstallation_linux64 file should be Executable & with both Write and Read access on permissions tab.

1. Do a right click to RUN the application for generating the hwinfo file.

2. If we are unable to execute the application by RIGHT click, please open a terminal to follow the below commands line.

3. Now we changed the permission access on PreInstallation_linux64 file then run it to generate the hwinfo file.

4. Exit the Terminal. Go to the License folder to get the required Hwinfo.v2a file of the server.

5. Send the hwinfo.v2a file to license@videonetics.com to get the License on demands.
