Below are the various settings and status indicators which perform the various actions as desired.
Select Matrix Layout
The smart application will allow you to view up to 36 cameras (6x6) at a time. The matrix layout multi-camera view can be chosen from the drop down after clicking on the icon as shown below.
System Health Status
On the top right side of the pane, you will find status indicators (shown below).
This shows you health status of important components in the system indicating whether they are functioning as desired. Here are the list of those:
- Network Storage Status
- Database Status
- VMS Storage Status
- Camera Status
- Recording Status
- Media Server Status
GREEN - When the particular component or service is OK,
RED - System require user attention as there is some configuration changes happened which need to be addressed manually.
GREY - Component is not configured yet.
By clicking each indicators you can view the details along with the information of the problem if occurred.
NETWORK STORAGE STATUS : It depicts the status of NAS, it's storage path, capacity and linkage with VMS.
DATABASE STATUS : It depicts the link with database and VMS. The icon on VMS client blinks RED if there is failure in link else will remains GREEN.
VMS STORAGE STATUS : Displays status of the media mounted for VMS storage. It depicts the capability and usage of disk.
CAMERA STATUS : It shows the live status of the cameras associated with VMS. GREEN shows the active/live camera and the RED one shows the disconnected camera.
MEDIA SERVER STATUS : It depicts the status of the media servers adjoined with the system. it shows their capacity, free spaces and usage.
RECORDING STATUS : It shows the recording status of the cameras associated with the VMS. It shows the number of cameras on which recording is ongoing.
