The same IVMS Client can be used to configure various components and services of the system. You must have administrative privilege to carry out those operations.
Media Server Configuration
Our Media Server is installed in a machine, you can use it's user interface to input the VMS Master server details. The maximum capacity of the hardware in terms of how many cameras it can accommodate is also to be fed in. By default it takes 32 cameras per server.
For configuration of the media server please open web browser and type" http://<MediaServerIP>:8082".
(The above IP is only for the illustration. You can replace it by your Media Server IP)
Once done, restart the machine. The media server will automatically register itself with the VMS server.
IVMS Server Configuration
Once VMS server is installed in a machine, you can use its user interface to input the Database Server details and Auxiliary
VMS server details.
For configuration of the VMS Server please open web browser and type "http://<IVMS SERVER IP>8081".
(The above IP is only for illustration. You can replace it by your your IVMS SERVER IP).
